Congratulations Highest 2007 CRES Score James Remeschatis, CRES Eastern Maine Medical Center

James Remeschatis achieved the highest score for 2007 on the International Certifications Commission Certified Radiology Equipment Specialist examination.
His response to my congratulations:
“Hi Manny,
Thanks for the kind words, I was happy to see all of the hard work that I put into studying pay off. I had the goal of simply passing the exam and was glad to see I had some breathing room on my test score. I‘m not sure how well I would have done without Joe’s (Geary) CRES review class. I‘d highly recommend it for anyone taking the exam. He did an excellent job presenting the material in an easy going, fun atmosphere. The practice tests were invaluable as they highlighted my weak spots. I went over them each night while studying and even the morning before the test. When it was time for the test, I felt very relaxed knowing I was well prepared from all of the daily beatings Joe passed out all week.
I feel that one of the reasons I did well on the test was that I started preparing early. I started studying daily about 10 weeks before the test. I used a CRES study guide and the AAMI CBET study CD. My biggest challenge was recalling my electronics classes from my college days so that is where I spent most of my time. I’d find time to study on breaks and at lunch time and also at home at night.
I‘m currently studying for the CBET exam while the material is still fresh in my mind. I am taking the exam this May along with several co-workers. Even though about 95% of
my responsibilities are in Medical Imaging but I figure it would be good to have it under my belt.
