Course Description
    Due to advancements in diagnostic imaging technology and improvements in imaging glassware, the process of fluoroscopic diagnostic imaging systems evaluations has become very complex and confusing. This course is specifically designed to provide the experienced service professional the tools and precise expertise for evaluation and calibration of today's imaging systems, with emphasis on image quality enhancement and reduction of patient dose.

Course Description
    The CDRH Compliance Testing hands-on course is for those service professionals who wish to perform their own CDRH checks and to gain a better understanding of the criterion used by state and federal inspectors. It is designed to teach all of the skills necessary to perform CDRH compliance testing and to identify the safety issues associated with x-ray servicing. Heavy emphasis is placed on understanding the CDRH regulations, proper setup for gathering the data, selection of test equipment, and safe laboratory practices. The lectures, hands-on lab procedures, and documentation are designed to provide the student with all of the knowledge needed to perform CDRH compliance testing.

Course Objectives
At the conclusion of this course, attendees will be able to:

• Demonstrate an understanding of the CDRH test procedures.
• Verify that RF systems are in compliance with CDRH.
• Complete all CDRH associated reports.
• Select the proper CDRH test equipment.
